MAKE SOME MAGIC

Magic is believing in yourself. If you can
do that, you can make anything happen.

MAINSTAGE CONVERSATION

Dimple Dhabalia

Coach, Author & Co-Host of the What Would Ted Lasso Do? Podcast

BELIEVE IN MAGIC: The Leadership Legacy of Ted Lasso

Ted Lasso, the show Vanity Fair once called “the nicest show on television,” may have wrapped a year ago, but its leadership legacy lives on. A MAGICal diversion in the midst of a pandemic, the show’s themes are as relevant now as they were just a few short years ago; when leaders lead from a human-centered orientation, they create MAGIC.

Dimple Dhabalia, co-host of the popular What Would Ted Lasso Do? podcast spent three seasons “not only geeking out on Ted Lasso, but doing it through the lens of positive psychology and leadership.” Dimple will share her favorite Ted Lasso moments and explore the real-life leadership behaviors we can all practice to better lead from a people-first perspective.

If you’ve watched the show – and even if you haven’t – this mainstage conversation with Dimple and panelists from top “Great Place To Work®” organizations will have you believing in MAGIC:

  • Motivation building greater individual and collective self-determination, encouraging others, and creating agency to ultimately help team members produce a better version of themselves
  • Authenticity – creating an environment where everyone is able to come to work as their true selves
  • Growth – supporting the personal and professional development of individuals, and as an organization
  • Inclusivity – calling all “in” rather than focusing on differences, and doing everything with a bit of empathy
  • Curiosity – listening and learning, and encouraging teams to be curious – not judgemental
