REACHing for Success in Corporate Finance
It’s a fact — women control household budgets and consumer spending. But who’s holding the corporate “purse strings”? While female CFOs regularly outperform their male counterparts, women are far less likely than men to be in money management roles in the first place, putting them at a distinct disadvantage in the business world. So, how do we get in on company financial discussions? HINT: We don’t all need to be CFOs, but we can all benefit from a solid understanding of corporate finance. This session with Marquita will be interactive and high-energy, with a little humor and a lot of information, empowering us all to REACH:
- Remove the fear and stigma surrounding corporate financial statements.
- Educate yourself with financial terminology.
- Accept your power and acknowledge your roles in corporate finance.
- Challenge others for greater understanding and challenge yourself to reach higher.
- Heart vs. Head – find the balance in the corporate world.
